The Show Overview:

Win a Home, is South Africa’s favourite design and interior decor reality TV show – everyFriday night at 7:30pm on SABC 3. (repeats Saturdays at 4:30pm)

The show has a viewership of 3 million South Africans.

The series started with fourteen aspiring interior designer’s contestants who went head to head in design challenges that pushed them, and their imaginations to the limit – all for the chance of winning the prize of R100,000. Each week they have had only three days and a
limited budget, to design and decorate rooms that will impress the judges. The panel consists of industry experts; Simon Bray, the CEO of Private Property, Tim Akinnusi, Head of Sales and Client Management at Nedbank Home Loans, and Anne Roselt, who is Plascon’s colour expert. Each week a guest judge joins to bring an added perspective. Over several episodes the losing team had to vote out a member of their group. Only winning an Individual Challenge (with team-mates pitted against one another) could save them from
elimination. Now, after 11 weeks and many upsets and drama it’s down to only three contestants left. All of them stand a chance, but only one will walk away with the R100 000 prize and the acclaim of becoming this season’s winning interior designer.

But it’s not only the design contestants who can win. Viewers stand a chance of winning big too! There are weekly SMS competition prizes but also an incredible Grand Prize Draw: The third prize is R50 000 worth of LG products. The second prize is the all new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300. And the first prize is a two-bedroom home at Ilala Views in Durban (Umhlanga Ridge).
