The Bakwena House a modern home located in Johanesburg, that boasts clean lines and feature striking interior finishes. The brief was to creates a modern home that has minimalist undertones with color from the rugs and furniture contrasting these minimalistic tones. Natural lighting was encouraged through large floor to ceiling windows. A key feature of this modern designed home is the way the outdoor space is both connected and integrated to indoor spaces. The indoor spaces open up entirely making the outdoor entertaining areas part of the home. The overall look and feel is one of spaciousness that invites nature into the home.
